Job summary

The GIANT Company in Plumsteadville is hiring for a store position focused on daily inventory checks, removing out-of-date items, stocking pallets and restocking products. You will help maintain displays and ensure food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing the shift schedule, preparing the work area, following leadership directions and keeping all surfaces and equipment clean and sanitized. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and extended standing.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate effectively to complete duties
• Must complete the company introductory period of 60 days (implicit probation)
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
• Must be able to operate or learn to operate store equipment and tools
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at shift start, verify required equipment and supplies, follow PPE and food-safety rules
• Follow department leadership directions and maintain cleanliness
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters
