Job summary

The GIANT Company in Hedgesville, WV is seeking a store associate to support daily operations, including inventory checks, removing out-of-date items, stocking shelves, loading pallets into coolers, and maintaining displays. You will follow department directions, prep for duties, and keep work areas clean while complying with safety and PPE requirements.

The position requires basic reading/writing, reliability, and a willingness to work 4‑hour shifts or longer.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand job duties and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position
