Job summary

The GIANT Company is a leading grocery retailer serving communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey. This role focuses on daily inventory checks, removing out-of-date items, loading pallets into coolers, stocking products, and maintaining displays to ensure fresh, appealing merchandise for customers.

As part of a team, you will follow department leadership directions, ensure PPE and safety compliance, and contribute to clean and organized store environments

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties
• Must complete 60-day probationary period
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools
• Must perform all job functions safely
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance
• Must wear proper clothes and shoes for the job
• Must have and maintain required licenses/certificates/permits

Responsibilities

• Check inventory daily and remove out-of-date items
• Load pallets into cooler and stock/restock items
• Maintain displays and merchandising
• Review shift schedule and prepare PPE and supplies
• Follow directions from department leadership
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, and displays
