Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a Per Diem - Associate, Pyxis Inventory for Garden City South. The role manages Pyxis inventory onsite and offsite, replenishment, cycle counts, expiration checks, and daily delivery to Pyxis units.

Responsibilities include loading Pyxis stations, staging orders, and ensuring timely processing to support patient care. Requires a high school diploma and NYS driver’s license; experience with inventory systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Picks Pyxis orders from Clean Room based on MSR, UOM, quantity, and expiration date.
• Prepares inventory and non-stock orders for delivery; stages orders for hospital delivery.
• Delivers supplies daily to clinical units; loads and verifies Pyxis stations; rotates stock.
