Job summary

XCaliber Container is seeking an Inventory Handler to receive, move, store, and stage materials for production in our Graham, TX facility. You will ensure alignment between physical stock and ERP records, primarily using a small forklift to move materials as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, forklift experience, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). Day shift, hourly, non-exempt position with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in inventory handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing materials preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and ability to complete forklift training.
• Ability to use an ERP system or learn NetSuite transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping in a busy production environment.
• Ability to read item labels, part numbers, work orders, and receiving documents.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against receiving documents, report shortages or discrepancies.
• Record receipts, transfers, and material movements in the ERP system.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, staging, and production areas using a forklift.
• Stage materials for production and communicate shortages or delays to the Production Manager.
• Store materials in assigned locations with clear identification for easy counting.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and ERP records.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving, storage, and staging areas; keep safety equipment accessible.
• Inspect material-handling equipment and follow safety procedures during lifting, stacking, and moving loads.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and other teams to resolve inventory issues.

Position Summary

The Inventory Handler receives, moves, stores, and stages materials needed for production. This role is responsible for keeping physical inventory aligned with transactions in NetSuite or the company’s ERP system. Most material movement is performed using a small forklift. The Inventory Handler helps ensure production teams have the right materials in the right location when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and item information against receiving documents, and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
• Record receipts, transfers, material movements, and other required transactions accurately and promptly in the ERP system.
• Move materials safely between receiving, storage, staging, and production areas using a small forklift or other approved equipment.
• Stage the correct materials for scheduled production work and communicate shortages or delays to the Production Manager.
• Store materials in their assigned locations with clear identification so they can be found and counted easily.
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory checks; investigate and report differences between physical inventory and ERP records.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving, storage, and staging areas. Keep aisles and access to safety equipment clear.
• Inspect material-handling equipment before use and follow company safety procedures when lifting, stacking, and moving loads.
• Work with Production, Purchasing, and other teams to resolve material and inventory issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in inventory handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing materials preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift; ability to complete company-required forklift training and authorization.
• Ability to use an ERP system or learn NetSuite transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records while working in a busy production environment.
• Ability to read item labels, part numbers, work orders, and receiving documents.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of a material-handling role in a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing or production environment with occasional exposure to noise, etc.
• Day Shift - 6:30am-5pm M-F with some weekend work possible depending on business needs
