Inventory Specialist M/F
• Responsible for creating, tracking and performing yearly cycle counts timely and accurately.
• Ensuring inventory counts are completed then move systematically to Geodis inventory clearing team for further processing and clearing.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable inventory/warehousing procedures.
• Item not found, list missing items in quarantine location while researching/looking for item.
• Attempt to determine root cause and corrective action for discrepancies.
• Suggesting corrective actions to avoid inventory errors.
• Create SAP inventory adjustment after approval of management.
• Has full authority to make inventory adjustments up to $1,000.
• Maintain accounting/inventory audit compliance per contractual agreement.
• Use accurate tools and methods for counting and recording.
• Uses appropriate judgment in peer communication to assure limited disruption to daily tasks of other operations.
• Ensure adherence to company health and safety while doing cycle counting in the warehouse.
• Support the achievement of the company objectives and goals.
• Perform special projects (outage) from time to time, including proactive communication and reporting.
• High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)
• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse and/or distribution facility.
• Microsoft Office
• SAP experience preferred
