Overview

Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply. An Inventory Specialist works with and reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
2. If HUB order can’t be filled, call servicing store before next HUB run explaining how to reorder.
3. Work with store management team to complete all parts department cycle counts including OUTS.
4. Assist with completing all parts department plan-o-grams and stock all parts.
5. Complete all parts department callbacks and MAXI changes.
6. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
7. Complete required training and attend store meetings.
8. Train and develop team members as directed by the General Manager.
9. Coordinate product delivery, maintain inventories, and keep operating records.
10. Help ensure compliance with security, customer service, and record-keeping policies.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Skills

• Ability to operate a forklift (if certified), hand truck, and pallet jack.

Requirements

• Prior retail experience, including merchandising and inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on short notice.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses

Forklift operator training may be required in certain locations.

Physical Demands

Primarily walking, standing, and sitting. Must be able to talk, hear, use hands, reach, stoop, and crouch. Vision requirements include close, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Pay Range

USD $13.00 - USD $16.25 /Hr.
