Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Principal Responsibilities:

The Inventory Specialist handles aspects of technical supply management, including inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization within depot or local supply activities. The role involves working on standardized segments of supply management, addressing individual case problems or supply actions.

The key duties include:

  1. Promoting quality, environmental, health, safety objectives, and teamwork.
  2. Maintaining extreme attention to detail and organization.
  3. Ensuring property and supply processes adhere to policies and procedures.
  4. Managing property from acquisition to disposal.
  5. Maintaining files for material accountability, transfer, and quality.
  6. Generating reports and analyzing data related to property management.
  7. Documenting and tracking new property acquisitions.
  8. Processing excess property and coordinating its sale or destruction.
  9. Performing periodic inventories and verifying data integrity.
  10. Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aircraft inventory management, tool control, calibration, procurement, shipping, receiving, and hazmat certification.
  • Experience in data analysis related to property management.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and communicate effectively.
  • Hazardous Material Handling Certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Federal Property Management Regulations and FAA regulations (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL with HAZMAT endorsement is a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOJ Security Clearance.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Salary: $31.09 per hour
