Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, seeks an Inventory Specialist Back-End Pharmacy Support to receive deliveries, stage products, rotate stock and coordinate with drivers. You will participate in order fulfillment, packaging, and dispensing processes in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a pharmacy tech certification and at least one year in a pharmacy, retail, or medical setting; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One year or more of experience in a pharmacy, retail, or medical setting.

Responsibilities

Day In The Life

As an Inventory Specialist Back‑End Pharmacy Support staff member, you will work to receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with delivery drivers. Our back‑end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

• Preparing the finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse duties
• Performing physical inventories of medication
• Scanning all medication pending for delivery
• Sorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery times

Required Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $31.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
