Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Locust Grove, GA. This role supports daily warehouse operations, focusing on accurate inventory control, QA, and interaction with automated equipment.

You will perform counts, stage materials, and operate warehouse tools, using our WMS to maintain documentation. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Good knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System)/Blue Yonder.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed
• Interact with fully automatic equipment
• Perform product counts

• Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime, as needed

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Good knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System)/Blue Yonder

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally
• Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts
