Job description

Overview

Job Title: Inventory Specialist (IS)

Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8-5.

Pay: $16/hr (Eligible for a raise to $18-20/hr at the 3-month mark if converted as a permanent employee with client)

Start date: ASAP - as soon as background check and drug test are completed

Responsibilities
  • The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines.
  • Document vehicle condition within company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle.
  • Work entirely outside at the yard and receive vehicles for inventory and online auction preparation.
  • Upon vehicle arrival: clean it out (not a full detail), remove personal items and trash, vacuum, and ensure it is presentable.
  • Run a checklist with Copart handheld MI devices to document the car’s status, condition, make, model, etc.
  • Take specific images of the car to be publicly listed for auction.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with strong leadership, communication, and ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage complex inquiries and organize inventory processes.
  • Must be comfortable working completely outside.
