Responsibilities

1. Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure on-shelf availability and validate planogram accuracy.
2. Review reports and system applications impacting inventory accuracy for front end and pharmacy.
3. Implement and maintain asset protection techniques, and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
4. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of management, handling systems start-up, cash, and ensuring readiness for business.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers, offer assistance, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
• Model customer service best practices to team members, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating and receiving orders.
• Scan deliveries, verify pharmacy shipments, and complete on-shelf availability processes.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory activities, pricing, and compliance with laws.
• Support inventory record maintenance, physical inventory prep, and store cleanliness.
• Serve as the leader on duty in designated stores, handling POS transactions and related activities.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training sessions, complete e-learning modules, and maintain necessary certifications.

Communications

• Coach team members, communicate tasks, and report issues to management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year in retail.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Good performance and disciplinary record.
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, or customer service associate.
• Previous Walgreens employment preferred.
