Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage cannabis and non-cannabis stock at HQ in Rockford, IL. You will perform daily cycle counts, receive shipments, and organize items in the vault and warehouse.

The role requires accuracy, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with ERP systems and Excel. A valid state driver’s license and overtime flexibility are expected to support ongoing operations.

Compensation: $19.50 / hour

Description

Fernway’s Inventory Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, daily cannabis inventory counts, daily and weekly non-cannabis inventory accounts, receiving shipments and transferring items between warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Cycle Counts: Conduct daily inventory cycle counts for cannabis inventory and weekly cycle counts for non-cannabis inventory items, which include merchandise and apparel.
• Receive Shipments: Unloading trucks and receiving shipments of both cannabis and non-cannabis material
• Organize and label inventory items in the vault and warehouse
• Assist in picking & packing of orders, as needed
• Execute movement transactions and adjustments within ERP system
• Maintain inventory par levels in Excel, and update daily reports to inform management of inventory position
• Conduct deliveries, both cannabis and non-cannabis
• Communicate well with supervisors and other team members
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take on additional tasks such as warehouse management, deliveries/pickups, packaging, etc., on an as‑needed basis

Qualifications & Requirements

• 21+ years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 12’
• Experience with warehouse equipment (i.e., pallet jack, rolling ladder, forklift, etc.)
• Driver’s License issued by the state of employment
• Experience using inventory management softwareAdvanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain organization
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass Cannabis regulatory background check (may include fingerprinting and a national background check)
• Ability to successfully complete all required onboarding trainings
• A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct, always
