Job summary

CHI Health Midlands is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels.

You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily, using inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and cost control in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years' inventory management experience.
• Experience with inventory software and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory to maintain accurate levels and generate orders.
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas.
• Monitors par levels to ensure appropriate stock and patient care.
• Identifies excess inventory and coordinates returns or credits; flags outdates or slow-moving stock.
• Participates in put-away and validation of perpetual inventory items and issues/credits materials.

Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.

To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas
• Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
• Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits; notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, and issues and credits materials from the inventory management point-of-use system.
• Labels bins and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate General Studies and Minimum of three (3) years’ experience of inventory management or other relevant experience, upon hire or

Pay Range

$16.42 - $23.19 /hour
