Job Description

The role involves executing, monitoring, and training staff on inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Responsibilities include pharmacy inventory management, ensuring on-shelf availability, and validating planograms.

Key duties include reviewing reports and system applications for inventory accuracy, executing asset protection techniques, and managing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of management.

Customer Experience
  • Engage customers proactively, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Model customer service best practices for team members.
Operations
  • Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including ordering and receiving.
  • Verify pharmacy shipments and manage pharmacy inventory activities.
  • Complete on-shelf availability processes, vendor returns, and pharmacy recalls.
  • Support pricing activities and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Ensure compliance with laws on regulated products and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist in physical inventories and keep store areas organized and merchandised.
  • Support package delivery activities and POS operations when acting as leader on duty.
Training & Personal Development
  • Participate in training programs and maintain necessary certifications.
Communications
  • Act as a liaison between management and staff, communicate tasks, and report issues.
Minimum Requirements
  • Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Positive performance reviews and no recent disciplinary actions (internal candidates).
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
