The role also involves reviewing reports and system applications to ensure inventory accuracy, executing asset protection techniques, and handling claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods. In certain stores, responsibilities extend to opening and closing the store, including cash handling and system start-ups.
Customer service responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving issues, and modeling service best practices. Operational duties encompass managing warehouse and vendor inventory processes, verifying shipments, executing on-shelf availability processes, supporting pharmacy inventory activities, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The role also involves supporting store systems, preparing for physical inventories, maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising, coaching team members, and adhering to company policies.
Additional responsibilities include attending training, maintaining a pharmacy license, communicating effectively with team members, and completing assigned tasks. Qualifications include at least six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience, fluency in English, flexibility in working hours, and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include previous leadership or pharmacy technician experience.
