Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices, including store-wide processes for front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure on-shelf availability and validate planogram accuracy.
- Review reports and system applications to maintain accurate front end and pharmacy inventory balances and pricing.
- Implement and maintain asset protection techniques, file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
- In designated stores, open and close the store as needed, including system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and store readiness.
Customer Experience
- Greet customers, offer assistance, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Model customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits to team members.
Operations
- Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating and receiving orders.
- Verify deliveries, perform tote audits, and complete pharmacy and warehouse order postings.
- Complete pharmacy inventory activities, including recalls, vendor returns, and claims.
- Execute pricing activities, monitor inventory counts, and support ordering processes.
- Maintain compliance with legal regulations and store policies.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training sessions, complete e-learning modules, and maintain necessary licenses/certifications.
Communication
- Coordinate with management and team members, communicate tasks, and report issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
- Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Good attention to detail, multitasking, and operational problem-solving skills.
