Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist maintains accurate inventory records in their dispensary, drives sales by managing online and in-store menus, and ensures compliance with all AYR policies and regulatory requirements. They report to the Retail Inventory Manager and the Dispensary Store Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate inventory counts through daily counts and reconciliations.
2. Ensure all products are properly tagged according to regulations and accompanied by necessary paperwork.
3. Reconcile inventory to ensure accurate reporting to the state system and troubleshoot malfunctions.
4. Keep the shop and storage areas clean and organized for easy access.
5. Maintain delivery records and invoices as per company and regulatory standards.
6. Ensure all items meet quality standards and specifications.
7. Generate purchase orders or transfers to meet sales requirements.
8. Run and maintain inventory level reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently when needed.

• Meet age requirements as per state cannabis regulations.
• Pass background checks and fingerprinting as required.
• Provide valid credentials/badging as required.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience

• 1-3 years in a retail environment preferred.

Working Conditions

Work occurs in various locations, including cultivation and production facilities. Conditions may include odors, noise, temperature fluctuations, and occasional law enforcement interaction. Travel may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift at least 20 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical movements such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
