Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy, supporting activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure On-Shelf Availability and validate planogram accuracy.
- Review and coordinate the use of reports and system applications affecting inventory accuracy and pricing.
- Implement and maintain asset protection techniques, and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
- In designated stores, open and close the store when required, handling system start-ups, cash procedures, and ensuring readiness for business.
Customer Experience
- Greet customers, offer assistance, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
Operations
- Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
- Handle deliveries, verify shipments, and ensure accurate posting of pharmacy and store orders.
- Complete On-Shelf Availability processes, pharmacy inventory activities, and pricing updates.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support store systems, package deliveries, and POS operations as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training sessions, complete e-learning modules, and maintain necessary certifications.
Communication
- Serve as a liaison between management and staff, communicate tasks, and report issues.
- Require six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience, fluency in English, flexible schedule, and a positive performance record.
