American Bolt Corporation in New Berlin, WI is looking for a Full-Time VMI/Solutions Assistant Manager to join our team. This position will assist the VMI Manager and help manage a successful inventory solution program for our customers, manage a team of drivers/specialists, and will report into our Sales Manager. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VMI/Solutions Assistant Manager
As a VMI/Solutions Assistant Manager, you play a key role in supporting the VMI Manager by managing an inventory program solution for our valued customers. You will ensure the inventory program are running smoothly, efficiently, and exceeding customers' expectations. You will proactively manage existing inventory programs in customer locations, as well as create and implement new programs. You complete scheduled reviews of existing accounts and analyze stocking objectives to accommodate the requirements of each customer. You perform audits of the accounts that the drivers/specialists service to ensure product is being presented to strengthen the inventory program. You complete the physical setup of the program in new accounts with the VMI Manager and maintain existing accounts with the team. You work closely with our purchasing and sales teams for the development of new accounts. You manage the teams' daily functions, responsibilities and performance.
You have top notch computer skills, in the Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications. You pay great attention to detail without being bogged down in it. You have the ability to plan and complete projects. You are a high-level communicator with all levels of people in the organization. You can take direction and act on the direction immediately. You are ok getting your hands dirty to set the standard for the team. You are an active listener, an agile learner, and detail oriented, which is why you are perfect for this position!

WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position has 1st shift hours Monday through Friday, with flexibility to align with driver start and end times, as well as customer/program needs.
