Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a General Warehouse Person to handle processing and shipping orders to stores that serve customers. The role includes receiving, scanning, picking, packing and auditing merchandise within a distribution center. You will use RF scanning to track inventory and verify orders in the system.

A background in warehouse work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for overtime are expected. This is a full-time, on-site position at Walgreens distribution center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology and inventory systems.
• Experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• Experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, pick, pack and ship merchandise to stores.
• Track inbound/outbound items using RF scanning to ensure inventory accountability.
• Verify orders and enter data into the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe distribution center and comply with quality standards.
• Support shipping and distribution operations as needed.
