Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Logistics Specialist I at GAC Appleton to perform material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks supporting manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and distribution centers. You will ensure timely, accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Entry level position
• Experience with inventory systems preferred. Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers.
• Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
• Unload freight and verify paperwork.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (i.e. SAP, Corridor, etc.).
• Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality throughout daily operations by following established procedures, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all work meets regulatory and company standards.
• Handle Dangerous Goods per standards.
• Assist with inspection and tagging.
• Elevate discrepancies with clear communication and follow-up actions.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.
