Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, WI seeks a Logistics Specialist I to perform material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks supporting manufacturing, service centers, and distribution centers.

Under supervision, you will ensure timely movement and accurate documentation of materials, with emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to FAA and company standards. Entry-level role with opportunities to grow within the logistics team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry level.
• Experience with inventory systems preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers.
• Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
• Unload freight and verify paperwork.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (i.e. SAP, Corridor, etc.).
• Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality throughout daily operations by following established procedures, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all work meets regulatory and company standards.
• Handle Dangerous Goods per standards.
• Assist with inspection and tagging.
• Elevate discrepancies with clear communication and follow-up actions.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
