Job summary

GUHRING INC is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform administrative functions in the shipping department, including receiving purchase orders, stock transfers, customer returns, and inventory control, as well as selecting standard tool orders and placing incoming stock into proper locations.

Key duties include unpacking and verifying vendor orders, processing returns, performing cycle counts, packing and shipping customer orders, labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a secured

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year general packaging, warehousing or material handling experience.
• Preferred: 2 years warehousing in a manufacturing environment with inventory control experience, SAP knowledge, and cycle counting duties.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions; must have basic math and computer skills for inventory data entry and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, verify, and receive items from vendor purchase orders.
• Unpack, verify, and process customer returns.
• Perform inventory control duties including stock checks and cycle counts; transfer material to appropriate departments.
