Job summary

You will code delivery manifests, prepare bills, input delivery information, assist with dispatching, communicate with vendors and customers, and ensure shipping/receiving documents are accurate.

Qualifications

• Warehouse procedures and operations experience is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code delivery manifests and prepare billing.
• Compile statistics from manifest data and prepare related reports.
• Input delivery information into the computer.
• Assist with dispatching as needed.
• Contact vendors/customers to confirm delivery details.
• Check postponements/cancellations against delivery manifests.
• Prepare purchase orders for signature.
• Answer telephones and maintain department files.
• Handle customer service needs in person or by phone.
• Schedule inbound/outbound freight to fit warehouse operations and capacity.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping/receiving (BOL) documents.
• Perform other related clerical duties as needed.
