Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Logistics Specialist to drive replenishment and warehouse/vehicle inventory processes across North America from the Pelham, AL area. You will coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and the Material Planning Team to align stock levels with usage analyses and established min-max policies.

Responsibilities include audits, credit-related vehicle return handling, and timely replenishment transactions with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Formal education or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven ability to apply analytical methods to business actions.
• Experience managing projects with limited guidance.
• Understanding of supply chain roles and KPIs supporting customers.
• Ability to analyze issues, determine root causes, and propose alternatives.
• Strong scheduling and coordination skills for project timelines.
• Customer-focused mindset with stakeholder engagement.
• Conflict resolution and effective multi-channel communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized stock and surplus materials across warehouse sites.
• Administer excess vehicle returns and coordinate with suppliers for credit.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely component returns.
• Audit inventories to ensure proper storage and identification.
• Support projects aimed at inventory and cost improvements.
• Execute replenishment activities considering customer impact.
• Promote accountability in materials management and chain-of-custody.
• Perform ergonomic warehouse tasks and operate forklifts as required.
