Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is hiring a Material Handler to manage receipt, staging, delivery, and stocking of parts across multiple locations. You will maintain safe stock levels and operate electronic inventory systems to close purchase transactions.

We seek candidates with strong organizational and communication skills, 2+ years in oilfield inventory or warehouse roles, and the ability to work on-call and under pressure, including long hours and physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years’ oilfield service experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory or customer service required.
• Familiarity with reciprocating compression equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives parts and consumables at central area location for staging and delivery to remote locations.
• Transports and logs order information into electronic inventory control system.
• Organizes received parts by destination for timely delivery to remote locations.
• Delivers parts to remote locations on a regular schedule.
• Stocks lots and bins at remote locations according to organizational system.
• Keeps remote inventory locations neat and organized.
• Evaluates reorder quantities and safe stock levels and suggests adjustments to Purchasing.
• Helps establish safe stock levels and reorder points for parts not in system.
• Establishes delivery logistics with vendors as needed.
• Performs quick delivery of parts for emergency operations.
• Proficient in use of electronic inventory control systems.
• Understands basic inventory and warranty accounting practices.
