Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an Inventory Specialist to accurately manage field inventory levels, perform periodic counts, and support CMMS-based purchasing and asset transactions. The role emphasizes optimizing stock locations, ensuring availability of parts, and collaborating with field personnel to meet demanding schedules.

The position requires experience in purchasing or inventory accounting, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced oilfield environment with 24/7

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a purchasing or inventory accounting role.
• 5 years’ experience in an oilfield service organization preferred.
• Familiarity with reciprocating compression equipment and its application required.
• Proficient in electronic inventory control systems and CMMS.
• Able to analyze inventory usage trends and optimize locations and stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces Supply Chain policies for inventory control.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and correct variances in CMMS.
• Manage all CMMS transactions (maintenance, work orders, purchases, assets, stock rooms).
• Assist in setup of new parts, stockrooms, or movements of inventory.
• Fulfill on-call rotation duties and support field personnel.
