Job summary

Harry and David is seeking an Inventory Reconciliation Specialist to join the Inventory Control and Accuracy team. The role focuses on monitoring inventory systems, cycle counting, bin audits, and resolving discrepancies with senior leadership.

The candidate will work with SAP and EWM, perform audits with RF devices, document actions, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years inventory control experience in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or retail.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications required.
• Experience with SAP and Warehouse Systems such as EWM or WM preferred.
• 1-2 years forklift and/or reach lift experience required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and walk long distances.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass drug screening.
• Able to work in fast-paced, multi-tasked environment and in cold/freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SAP and EWM inventory screens to research and resolve discrepancies; perform cycle counts and bin audits.
• Respond to business partner requests by checking on-hand inventory against system data.
• Research discrepant inventory and locate lost or misplaced items.
• Use RF devices to perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Document corrective actions and communicate results with partners.
• Identify and report issues affecting inventory to team and partners.
• Support health, safety, and environmental programs and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and inventory control gaps.
• Provide support for cycle counting, bin audits, and line-side storage audits.

Job description

The Inventory Reconciliation Specialist is a key member of the Harry and David Inventory Control and Accuracy team. This position must handle multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment with frequent direct interaction with senior management. The Inventory Reconciliation Specialist position is responsible for closely monitoring inventory systems and working with business partners to resolve inventory concerns. Working closely with the Supervisor and other leadership and staff, this position is responsible for Inventory Control activities including inventory system research and analysis, cycle counting of materials, storage bin audits and corrective action for material count discrepancies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor SAP and EWM inventory screens to research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Cycle counting, bin audits, line side storage audits.

• Research discrepant inventory and physically search for lost/misplaced inventory.
• Use RF devise to perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with business partners.
• Communicate issues affecting inventory with team and business partners.
• Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Identify system and physical discrepancies with inventory and provide guidance on appropriate corrections.
• Help identify inventory control gaps and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Provide support as needed with cycle counting audits, bin audits, line side storage audits.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years' inventory control experience in Manufacturing, Wholesale, Distribution and Warehouse, Direct Marketing or Retail industry experience is required. Working in food environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications required.
• Experience with SAP and Warehouse Systems such as EWM or WM preferred, but not required.
• 1-2 years' forklift and or reach lift experience required.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment and be available after hours if required.
• Must be able to work in all storage environments including cold and freezer temperatures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk distances 200 yards or more.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-drug screen testing.
