Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in Lansing seeks a Receiving & Inventory Clerk I/II to manage stock, shipments, and archival storage across mail room, print center, IT, and related areas. You will ensure accurate inventory, proper handling of confidential documents, and timely deliveries to departments.

Strong organization, basic math, data entry, and a valid driver’s license are required. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and be capable of travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Clerk II requires at least one year of Clerk I experience or equivalent.
• Ability to monitor others and perform responsibilities with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock and inventory; assist with purchase requests.
• Fulfill, ship, and deliver stock materials to departments.
• Process marketing materials and claim kit orders; prepare for distribution.
• Receive and verify deliveries; inspect for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain archives and storage, including confidential documents.
• Prepare files for offsite storage or destruction per retention guidelines.
• Operate as liaison with buyers, delivery personnel, and employees.
• Support special events and projects; create name tags and signage.
