Job summary

ShopRite of Hoboken is seeking a Receiver (Inserra NJ) to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a neat, organized warehouse while delivering a great customer experience. The role includes verifying invoices, supporting safety standards, and assisting customers with service needs.

The position is part-time, non-union, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, vacation and a 401K plan offered after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Standing/walking for full shifts.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed foods and chemicals.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness and readiness for next shift.
• Handle damaged or returned stock according to policy, prioritizing perishable items.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Complete Wakefern report cards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Follow safety procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
