Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Tooele, UT is hiring for a Material Handler responsible for moving, sorting, inspecting, and delivering materials across production areas. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, to meet schedules.

Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain forklift and fall-protection certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift and fall-protection certifications.
• Strong attendance and reliability; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move, sort, inspect, and deliver materials as directed following instructions.
• Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy across locations.
• Inspect and document Detroit Diesel core components.
• Package and prepare materials for shipment to other centers.
• Complete daily paperwork and update production boards.
• Perform 5S audits and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements; report safety concerns.
• Be flexible to move to various areas based on production needs; work overtime as required.
