Job summary

Fyda Freightliner Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, inspect, and stock auto parts. You will ensure shipment accuracy, label and bin parts, and support cycle counts and inventory control.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, documenting damages or shortages, and coordinating with the parts manager to facilitate yearly inventory and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.
• Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
• High school business math.
• Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
• General mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking all incoming shipments.
• Check for accuracy of shipment (ensure bill of lading matches product unloaded).
• Quality of parts; noting damage and shortages.
• Put away daily stock orders and customer orders.
• Perform cycle counts daily to ensure accuracy of stock.
• Create labels and/or bins for new parts in warehouse.
• Collect and organize cores and warranties and perform return of cores and warranties to appropriate vendors.
• Facilitate yearly inventory in conjunction with parts manager.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse.
