Job summary

Shabby Fabrics in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking a Receiving Associate for our warehouse operations. You will learn receiving and inventory processes, handle shipments, count inventory, and update our systems.

You’ll audit shipments for accuracy and assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers and distributors. Additional duties include fabric measuring and cutting, kit assembly, quality checks, and performing shipping/receiving tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving/inventory processes preferred.
• Ability to follow packing slips and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and perform inventory counts.
• Update inventory system and route goods to correct department.
• Audit shipments for accuracy against packing slips and invoicing; communicate discrepancies to vendors.
• Assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers and distributors.
• Perform warehouse duties: measuring and cutting fabric with a rotary cutter.
• Assist with collating kits and other products; ensure quality of products and packaging.
• Execute order fulfillment and perform shipping/receiving duties as needed.

Job Summary

• As a receiving associate, you will learn all of our receiving and inventory processes.
• You will receive shipments, perform inventory counts, update the inventory system, and deliver goods to the correct department.
• You will carefully audit shipments ensuring accuracy against packing slips and invoicing, communicating discrepancies to vendors.
• You will assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers and distributors.

You will also be trained in many warehouse duties that include:

• Measuring and cutting fabric with a rotary cutter.
• Collating which consists of the production of kits and other products.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of products and packaging.
• Perform order fulfillment as well as shipping and receiving duties when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to distinguish between colors
• Basic math skills

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm
