Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to key in data, type and operate a computer keyboard.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures in winter and hot temperatures in summer.
• Forklift/stand-up reach truck/walkie experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of physical inventory process is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed receipt of purchase orders via WMS.
• Confer with manager to rectify inbound problems like damages or shortages.
• Create door assignments for inbound loads.
• Generate/monitor put-away activity to maximize efficiency.
• Verify master and inner pack accuracy; update system as needed.
• Handle simple arithmetic and unit conversions; use calculator as needed.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and stand for the shift.
• Provide direction to associates following policies to maximize productivity and safety.
