Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a First Shift Auditor in Memphis. The role focuses on accurate checking, counting, and recording of product for inbound and outbound freight. You will ensure product quality, proper labeling, and correct addressing to meet customer specifications.

The position requires basic math and computer skills, plus a material handling certification. A background in warehouse inventory or cycle counting is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in inventory, cycle counting or quality department strongly preferred.
• Attention to detail, basic computer skills, and basic math skills are required.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound product, compare to manifest, and check for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storing.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms and forward to appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signature for outbound merchandise per special request.
• Check contents of outbound freight as prepared by warehouse personnel.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correctly labeled and addressed.
• Safely operate forklift or other handling equipment as required and assist in loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security and promote safety in operations.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
