Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking an Inventory Clerk w/Forklift in Wylie, TX to support purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The role involves purchasing materials, receiving shipments, operating a forklift, loading/unloading trucks, and moving items throughout the warehouse.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, with contract-to-hire potential. Primary duties include maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with general warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift with certification preferred.
• Warehouse or material handling experience.
• Strong computer skills for inventory and purchasing tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and maintain all project material.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks; follow shipping/receiving procedures.
• Move materials within the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping.
