Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and product ordering in Pooler, GA. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with store teams to ensure products are available when customers need them.

Key duties include assessing customers' needs, following the product checklist, upselling where appropriate, and coordinating with warehouses and manufacturers to keep shelves stocked.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing and inventory control preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Superior organizational abilities.
• Cycle counting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow ABC's product/supply checklist for each customer's specific job and up-selling additional products and supplies for that job.
• Answer customer questions and offer product advice.
• Order products from other ABC Supply branches when necessary.
• Arrange with the warehouse for customer product pickup.
• Reorder products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Address and resolve customer concerns when necessary.
• Order from manufacturers and related vendors.
• Receive inbound material into system and perform cycle counts.

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following ABC's product/supply checklist for each customer's specific job and up-selling additional products and supplies for that job
• Answering customer questions and offering product advice

• Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup

• Addressing and resolving customer concerns when necessary
