Job summary

CSP, located in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Process and Inventory Analyst to join our team and support PFEP data, inventory reporting, and materials analysis. You will work with plant teams on demand, lead times, and replenishment settings, ensuring data accuracy and process improvements.

Based in the Auburn Hills office with 50% travel to CSP facilities, you will assist with cycle counts, material availability studies, and trade-compliance documentation under the guidance of the Systems &

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; new grads welcome.
• Basic understanding of inventory or supply chain concepts and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas; willingness to develop pivot-table, lookup, and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain PFEP information with plant teams, including demand, lead times, replenishment settings, packaging, storage, and points of use.
• Prepare recurring inventory reports and check data for completeness/accuracy; flag unusual results.
• Assist with analysis of raw material, components, WIP, and finished goods to identify shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving inventory.
• Compile cycle-count results, track count completion, document variances, and support physical inventory prep and follow-up activities.
• Trace inventory discrepancies through receiving, production reporting, transfers, scrap, and shipping transactions with experienced team members.
• Gather planning parameters and compare with approved standards; document gaps for review by manager and plant Materials team.
• Participate in plant assessments and improvement workshops; maintain action logs and follow up on tasks.
• Help update work instructions and training materials; assist with rollout of approved process changes under COE guidance.
• Support trade compliance documentation for Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization Manager; including country-of-origin and shipment records.
• Support material-availability, capacity, and inventory-bank studies by gathering data and completing defined analyses; submit findings for review.
