Job summary

Kitron, a global EMS leader, operates a U.S. facility in Windber, PA. This Inventory Clerk & Prep Assembler role supports parts prep, inventory management, and shipping processes on-site.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, maintaining stock, and documenting movements. Requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and ability to work a 9/80 first shift schedule in the Windber facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize work and follow procedures.
• Ability to concentrate on a task for periods of time.
• Ability to use packing supplies and basic tools.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to document and manage files.
• Ability to compare quantities and data quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Preps parts according to work instructions.
• Verifies shipments against records (manifests, invoices, orders).
• Requisitions and stores shipping materials to maintain inventory.
• Troubleshoots quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection.
• Prepares and routes documents (work orders, bills of lading).
• Packages and labels materials for shipping; uses hand/power tools.
• Records shipment data for accounting and reporting.
• Receives and signs for incoming shipments; notes shortages/overages.
