Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Inventory Planning Manager to coordinate the master production plan across the site and drive efficient, predictable scheduling. You will optimize planning parameters, support inventory targets, and act as the main liaison with supply chain partners to drive the monthly S&OP process and site goals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 5+ years in materials management (MPS, MRP, PAC), and SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sciences or Engineering; MBA desirable.
• 5+ years in Materials Management with MPS, Inventory Control, PAC, and MRP.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturing for the full window of firmed orders and support schedule execution.
• Supervise work order coordinators and provide guidance and direction.
• Manage unplanned orders, check material availability, and communicate with planning or customers.
• Communicate schedule changes proactively with stakeholders and drive right production decisions.
• Lead daily schedule reviews with material management and cross-functional partners.
• Prepare weekly/monthly production plans considering demand, lead times, and inventory targets.
• Lead weekly MPS lock discussions to optimize schedule feasibility.
