Job summary

Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest specialty jewelry retailer, seeks an Inventory Planner to manage SKU forecasting, order management, and inventory strategies for Zales, Zales Outlet and Zales.com. You will partner with Merchants and Planners to align pre-season strategies with performance insights and drive in-season optimization.

The role involves developing assortment architectures, recommending initial buys, and owning Open-to-Buy processes to maximize sales and gross margin.

Responsibilities

• Partner with category Merchants and Merchandise Planner to develop pre-season strategies informed by product performance and consumer insights.
• Execute a Go-to-Market plan that supports category initiatives and meets plan targets.
• Support pre-season assortment architecture including SKU rationalization and lifecycle management to hit productivity targets.
• Recommend initial buy quantities and store groupings for test merchandise and new collections.
• Contribute to Open-to-Buy to optimize inventory investments and margins.
• Own order management processes at SKU level for replenishment and in-stock optimization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Demand Analytics and allocation systems to drive store sales and margin.
• Lead in-season performance reporting at SKU and store levels and present insights with action items.
• Identify demographic, regional, and store opportunities to optimize assortment and inventory efficiency.
• Drive reverse flow projects to improve productivity and inventory goals.
