Job description

Our client, a global leader in energy management, automation, and manufacturing, is actively looking for an Inventory Planner to join their team! This role is remote on the West Coast however being near Tualatin, OR is preferred as the manager can train in person at the beginning and meet onsite a few times a year as needed.

This role is a 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert based on performance

This role supports the company's sites in OR, WA, and AK as a Field Services Engineering Inventory Planner.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an Order Manager, tracking parts, receiving orders, managing site access, and attending to the administrative and operational needs of the sites
  • Work closely with Excel, BFS (Buy From Stock), and internal systems to track and order items (the internal systems are easy to learn and there will be training provided)
  • Managing facilities need and oversee all planning
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree preferred, some college or enrollment is required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, ideally within materials/inventory planning and ordering
  • Experience working with Excel and BFS (Buy From Stock)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to stay on task while hitting deadlines
