Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail‑oriented associate to manage inventory across the store, including pharmacy operations, pricing, and planogram accuracy. You will participate in receiving, counting, and returning merchandise while supporting asset protection and daily cash handling tasks.

In this role you will coach team members on inventory best practices, ensure On-Shelf Availability, and assist with end-to-end store operations.

Qualifications

Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal) or one year of prior retail experience.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the whole store, including front end and pharmacy.
Support pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
Champion On-Shelf Availability; validate planograms and ensure accuracy of on-hand balances and pricing.
Review and coordinate use of reports and systems impacting front end and pharmacy on-hand data.
Manage front end and pharmacy asset protection, including filing claims for overages/shortages and damaged goods.
In designated stores, open/close duties including cash handling and start-up procedures.
