Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Store Stock Associate to join our fast-paced Napa area team. The role focuses on accurate inventory control, freight receiving and posting, cycle counts, and orderly shelving to ensure efficient order fulfillment for drivers and store customers.

The position requires the ability to source correct parts, maintain product placement, and assist colleagues with product and system knowledge. A reliable team member with attention to detail will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year stocking, loading, or pulling experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to recognize part numbers and codes quickly.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and move heavy items with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders for delivery by drivers to wholesale and main counter customers, accurately and on time.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support ongoing inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping, facility cleaning, packing material disposal, and area organization following safety rules.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as volume requires; provide basic support or escalate as needed.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate deliveries and pull orders for customers and drivers.
• Contribute to store operations and team support tasks to optimize performance and efficiency.
