Job summary

City of Lake Worth Beach is seeking a Parts & Property Clerk for the Utilities Warehouse and Power Plant. The role focuses on ordering, receiving, inventory accounting, and records in a warehouse setting.

The position requires moderate labor, 40-hour work week, and union participation under IBEW. Responsibilities include processing requests, managing transactions, and coordinating deliveries.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or possession of a GED.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year related experience in materials management or Electric Utility.
• Forklift experience/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for material issues, returns, purchases and shipments.
• Record all material-related transactions in the inventory system.
• Monitor open Purchase Orders to identify expediting or alternate sourcing needs.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
• Create, review and award RFQs based on inventory needs.
• Coordinate onsite and offsite material deliveries.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, issue, transport and return materials.
• All other duties as assigned by supervision.
