Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager in Bentonville, AR to oversee inventory control, forecasting, and budget monitoring across the supply chain. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and lead a team to deliver data-driven insights and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, managing returns and supplier relations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across inventory processes to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and 1 year’s experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area
• Proven expertise in inventory management
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing team members
• Ability to manage profit and loss (P&L), forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to company policies, ethics, compliance, accountability, and operational excellence
• Experience managing returns, recalls, and supplier relationships
• Experience using Microsoft Database applications is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee inventory management activities aligned with business goals and customer needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support inventory plans and initiatives
• Manage inventory profit and loss, including analysis, forecasting, and budget monitoring
• Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and promote adaptability and learning
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and optimize inventory operations
• Analyze inventory distribution data to ensure products are available at the right locations, quantities, and times
• Optimize returns processes, recalls, and supplier agreements
• Deliver data-driven insights and operational excellence to senior leadership
