Job summary

Walmart seeks a Facilities Services Parts and Inventory Strategy Intern in Bentonville, AR. You will analyze how parts are planned and stocked for field teams, identify opportunities to right-size inventory and develop an actionable strategy to become more inventory-driven.

You will partner with Facilities Services, Parts & Tools, finance and field stakeholders to validate findings, create analyses and dashboards, and present strategy considerations to business leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, finance, supply chain, analytics, operations or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with data, identify patterns and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with field, operations and business stakeholders.
• Coursework, internship or project experience in inventory management, supply chain, finance, operations or data analysis.
• Experience with spreadsheets, reporting, dashboards or business analysis.
• Interest in field service operations, parts strategy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Understand current parts and inventory planning processes supporting field teams.
• Analyze inventory, demand, availability and usage information to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate how inventory levels and parts strategies affect field productivity and first-time-fix outcomes.
• Develop recommendations for right-sizing inventory and improving planning discipline.
• Partner with Facilities Services, Parts & Tools, finance and field stakeholders to validate findings.
• Create clear analyses, dashboards or decision materials that support inventory actions.
• Present an actionable strategy and implementation considerations to business leaders.
