Position: Inventory Optimization Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Remote Type: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Reports To: Senior Manager, Supply Management

Position Summary:

The Inventory Optimization Analyst is responsible for analyzing, modeling, and improving inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels across the supply chain. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze current inventory levels and turnover rates to identify opportunities for optimization.
2. Help in implementing inventory optimization strategies to minimize excess stock, reduce costs, and improve Inventory Health.
3. Support the seamless interaction of purchasing and materials management to resolve gaps between supply capabilities and production plans.
4. Process audit of safety stock, reorder point, lead times, and lot size to ensure timely update of the system.
5. Execute and adjust inventory parameters such as reorder points, safety stock levels, lot size, and lead times in each ERP system.
6. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, stockouts, and overstock situations, providing actionable recommendations for improvement that directly impact Inventory Health.
7. Generate and analyze reports on inventory performance, including key metrics such as DIO, ITO, and carrying costs.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory goals and performance targets.
9. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and strategies for inventory management in accordance with Regal Rexnord's goals and compliance requirements, including same-day shipping, delivery expectations, seasonal variations, and customer experience.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related Supply Chain field.
2. 5-7 years of experience in Materials Management utilizing SAP; experience with Oracle and other ERP systems is a plus.
3. Previous experience working for a manufacturing company.
4. Experience with deep financial analytics using large data sets and reporting tools.
5. Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, ERP (SAP/Oracle), Planning Tools (Demantra), and Analytical Dashboards (Power BI).
6. Knowledge of lean tools and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Travel:

• Up to 35% domestic and international travel required.

Salary:

Expected Salary Range: $80,000-90,000

The salary range reflects the company's base pay across all U.S. locations and depends on factors such as worksite location, skills, experience, education, and internal comparisons.
