Job summary

Integral Blue, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead in Auburn Hills, MI to manage inventory, parts procurement, and shipping/receiving. You will supervise direct reports, optimize stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and use inventory software to maintain accurate records and prevent stockouts.

This role requires detail orientation and cross-functional collaboration. The position reports to Field Operations Manager and offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in inventory control, reconciliation, and shipping/receiving.
• Proficient with inventory management/tracking software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends and inform decisions.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Experience operating a hi-lo.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving of new inventory items, inspecting them for quality, accuracy, quantity, and documentation compliance.
• Parts Procurement: Support procurement processes, fulfill internal stock requests from Project Managers and Engineering, and manage ordering with Finance and suppliers.
• Inventory Monitoring: Continuously monitor inventory levels and stock availability to maintain correct products and quantities at the right times.
• Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and reconciliation and address discrepancies.
• Inventory Audits: Conduct regular audits to verify physical inventory against recorded levels.
• Stocking and Reordering: Determine reorder points, safety stock, and order quantities to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Problem Resolution: Address inventory-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Inventory Optimization: Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop strategies to maximize asset utilization.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on turnover, aging, and stock levels to inform decisions.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions, receipts, and adjustments in inventory software.
• Technology Utilization: Use inventory software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Test Equipment and Tools Support: Track and coordinate calibration and servicing of test equipment and tools.
• Fleet Vehicle Support: Coordinate vehicle logistics, service scheduling, and related supplies.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and policies related to inventory management.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, health & safety, and other departments to coordinate inventory needs.
• Training and Education: Provide training on inventory management best practices to involved staff.
